Banbury community and family literary event returns for its fourth year on 20th November.
This one day pre-Christmas event boasts a fantastic line up of top authors, speakers, performers and workshops. The whole day’s events are about bringing the community together and igniting a passion for literature. The emphasis is very much on the word ‘live’: performance poets; theatrical performances; cookery demonstrations; animal showcase; animators and illustrators; music and dance; as well as authors bringing their books to life through presentations, creative writing workshops or over afternoon tea.
Open to the whole community, this will have something for everyone. Doors open from 10:20am for music and crafts with author sessions from 11am to 4:30pm. Arrive and leave at a time to suit yourself or stay all day: in addition to the above, there will be a Christmas art and crafts fayre, Waterstones bookstall and Naomi's Cafe will be on hand selling a range of delicious foods.
We will also have a special pre-event showcase for adults and older teens on Saturday 19th November (doors open from 6:30pm) where you can spend a relaxing evening, with music, wine and cheese, listening to authors and poets.
